Hanan Lavy, co-founder and CEO
Mr. Lavy brings more than 20 years experience in various managerial positions in the software industry to United Parents. Most recently, Mr. Lavy was Director of Research and Development at Mercury / HP Software for the company’s fastest growing segment, its application monitoring solution, the Business Availability Center.
Prior to that, Mr. Lavy was the first employee at Proficiency, a startup which aims to solve collaboration issues between CAD systems. At Proficiency, Mr. Lavy held several Research & Development as well as Product Manager positions.
Mr. Lavy holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Business Administration (Cum Laude) from Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
Dr. Dror Zernik, co-founder and CTO & VP Engineering
Dr. Zernik has been leading system projects in distributed and Internet-based environments for more than two decades. Dr. Zernik has initiated, originated and implemented several research directions to final products. He co-founded and held lead technical positions in several start-ups where he managed product development teams. Each of these companies has completed product development and is in the process of market deployment.
Dr. Zernik holds a Ph.D. from Hebrew University in Computer Science with an emphasis in distributed systems.
Leslie McCue, VP Business Development
Leslie McCue has been building her extensive network of key players in emerging technologies for the last 15 years while managing groups in Business Development, Executive Placement, Human Resources, and Management Consulting.
After managing Nuance’s employee expansion while the company grew from $30M to over a $1B in revenue, Leslie started her own bi-coastal management consulting firm, helping firms launch in the US. Her roles have varied including executive recruitment, channel development and commercial real estate development in the data center space – always making strategic introductions.
She got her bachelor’s in Psychology and Economics, an MA degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from University of New Haven and MBA coursework from Yale SOM.
